Full course description
Part 2 of the Literacy Education for DHH Learners course addresses using the foundational requisites that underpin literacy (i.e., reading and writing) to inform instructional practices for deaf or hard of hearing (DHH) students.
At the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Review the foundational requisites
- Discuss means of providing access to English language
- Explore effective instructional approaches for teaching.
- Recognize the pedagogical implications of these requisites and their role in instructional planning.
