This is the eighth course in a series of 12, 30-minute online courses. After completing Tip 8: Use Instructional Strategies That Promote Successful Learning, a participant will be able to discuss:
- understanding how students learn, including information processing model and breakdowns in the process
- improving attention, including definition of attention, teacher behaviors and environmental supports that decrease attention and support attention
- improving short term memory
- improving long term memory
- improving output.
