Strengthen Science Instruction with ELPS-Aligned CBLI Practices 26-27

This course is designed to underscore the importance of implementing the ELPS with aligned CBLI in science. ELPS implementation alone is not enough. CBLI is essential because it aligns instruction to ELPS by embedding intentional language development into daily, grade-level content learning, ensuring emergent bilingual (EB) students can access, engage, and succeed academically. This course is designed to show how implementing the ELPS cross-curricular student expectations and linguistic supports promotes content and language acquisition in a science lesson.
